Hey, Fam. Come on in.

WORD OF FAITH GULF COAST CAMPUS
DO-ABLE LIFE TOGETHER.
WED. NIGHT SERVICE: 7PM CST
|
SUN. MORNING SERVICE: 10 AM CST
PURSUING RELATIONSHIP, NOT PERFECTION.
“THE HOUR IS COMING, AND NOW IS, WHEN THE DEAD SHALL HEAR THE VOICE OF THE SON OF GOD: AND THEY THAT HEAR IT SHALL LIVE.”

That time is now. For over 25 years, we have lived by the belief that not only is the Word the Living Truth, but it is totally doable. Our church home is built on a foundation of Biblical teaching, love, accountability, maturity, and practicality for everyone.

Ultimately, you’re not called to be perfect but you don’t have to stay where you are either. Growth aint promised to be easy, but we can do it together through the power of the Trinity and empowerment of Their body (AKA all of us!). Come on in and let’s do this. (P.S. we have children’s & teen areas, so bring the whole fam!)

BISHOP ORLANDO R. BURT

SENIOR PASTOR
Dr. Orlando R. Burt is the Senior Pastor of Word of Faith Christian Center in Hattiesburg, MS, Gulfport, MS, and Faith4Life Church in Jackson, MS. Dr. Burt is a Pastor and Teacher whose primary calling is the impartation of revelation knowledge to the Body of Christ through sound biblical instruction, with an emphasis on how to apply God’s Word to our daily lives. His television outreach, “The Revelation Knowledge Broadcast,” is seen weekly throughout Mississippi and Alabama (as well as around the world on YouTube). God has also used Dr. Burt and his wife, Pastor Toni Burt, to plant two satellite churches. In June 2019, he was appointed Bishop by his overseer and founder of Word of Faith International Christian Center, Bishop Keith A. Butler.

In addition to his pastoral duties, Dr. Burt is a Board Certified Specialist in Internal Medicine. Originally from Michigan, Dr. Burt attended Michigan State University, where he completed medical school. He was led by the Spirit of God to move to Hattiesburg, Mississippi in 1993 and pursue opening a medical practice. However, he later gave up his thriving medical practice in order to fulfill his God-given call to the ministry. Dr. Burt is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, and the American College of Osteopathic Internists, where he received the distinction as Fellow in 1999. He has also served in his local community as a board member of United Way of Southeast MS, Pine Belt Boys and Girls Club, Salvation Army, and Community Bank. He has been the proud husband of Pastor Toni Burt for over 30 years and is a father to two beautiful children.

In addition to family and ministry responsibilities, she is the co-founder and Vice President of the Word of Faith Christian Center, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

OUR CORE BELIEFS (F.A.Q.)

FOUNDATIONAL TRUTH #1
We believe in the existence of and Triune nature of God (The Trinity): God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1-2; Genesis 1:26; Luke 3:22; 1 Timothy 2:5; John 1:14; 1 John 4:2)
FOUNDATIONAL TRUTH #2
We believe that the Bible is the Divinely inspired Word of God, dictated by God and written by people. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; John 1:1))
FOUNDATIONAL TRUTH #3
We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; therefore, we all need Salvation. Salvation comes through accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior and asking Him to be the Lord of your life. (Romans 10:8-10,13)
FOUNDATIONAL TRUTH #4
We believe that Salvation is totally free and not based on works, but faith (just believe)! The lifestyle is all based on a personal relationship between those who choose it and the Trinity. Your past doesn't matter. You can decide to move forward with a clean slate in Christ! (Ephesians 2:8; 1 John 1:9)
FOUNDATIONAL TRUTH #5
We believe in the in-filling of the Holy Spirit is the will of God for everyone and that it comes after the salvation decision. (Acts 2:1-21)
FOUNDATIONAL TRUTH #6
We believe that the church is made up of everyone who has chosen to accept and follow Jesus as their personal Savior. (1 Corinthians 12)
FOUNDATIONAL TRUTH #7
We believe in giving of tithes (10% of "the first" of all monetary earnings) and offerings. (Malachi 3:10)
FOUNDATIONAL TRUTH #8
We believe that there will be a Rapture and bodily resurrection of the just and unjust. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
FOUNDATIONAL TRUTH #9
We believe that healing is a part of personal Salvation and is available to everyone who believes. (2 Peter 2:24; Isaiah 53:5; Malachi 4:2)
FOUNDATIONAL TRUTH #10
We believe in water baptism and observance of Communion (the Lord's Supper). (Luke 3:21-22; Mark 16:16; Matthew 28:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-27; John 6:53-58)

KEEP UP WITH ALL OUR HAPPENINGS
