Dr. Orlando Burt is the senior pastor of Word of Faith Christian Center Hattiesburg and Gulfport. Pastor Toni Burt serves as the co-pastor of Word of Faith Christian Center Hattiesburg and Gulfport. She is originally from Detroit, Michigan and has 10 siblings. Dennis has served on the ministry team at Word of Faith Christian Center Hattiesburg since 2000. In 2007 he was promoted to Assistant Pastor. In addition to serving on the ministry team, he has also served in several other areas of the ministry, including Children’s Ministry, Layperson’s Bible School Instructor, Music Ministry, Outreach Department, Youth Ministry, and as an HIV/AIDS Community Outreach Worker.
Community services include AIDS Services Coalition, Dismas Charities, and Friends of Children of Mississippi.
Pastor Buckley and his wife, Sylvina, have two sons (Dominic and Daniel), and two daughters (Chasity and Chelsea).
Director of Outreach and Discipleship
Josie is a high honors graduate of Word of Faith Christian Center’s Layperson Bible School. She currently serves as Director of Discipleship and Outreach at Word of Faith, a Layperson Bible School Instructor, Advisory Committee for the Women of Virtue Fellowship and minister.
Prior to coming to Word of Faith, she has been involved in such ministries as small group and home Bible studies as a facilitator, Sunday School teacher, and the Deaconess ministry.
Minister Josie is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelors, and Master’s Degree in Nursing. She currently serves as the Director of Case Management at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS.
Community involvement includes: Bethany Christian Services, American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, and Women Aglow.
Dean of the Layperson’s Bible School & Director of Christian Education
Miranda is a high honors graduate of Word of Faith Christian Center’s Layperson Bible School. She currently serves as Director of Christian Education, Dean of Layperson Bible School, an instructor and minister.
Minister Beard is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism. Currently, she is the Assistant News Content Director at WDAM-TV and morning and mid-day anchor.

Dr. Oswago “Hamp” Harper
Lead Minister & Director of Christian Education (Gulfport campus)
Dr. Oswago ‘Hamp’ Harper is a graduate of the Layperson Bible School, earning Valedictorian Honors. He received his minister’s license into the five-fold ministry in June 2014. He currently serves as the Lead Minister at the Word of Faith Gulfport Campus in Gulfport, Mississippi. He also serves as Layperson Bible School Instructor, and teacher of Christian Development Classes.
Dr. Harper is a graduate of Mid-Plains Community College and the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, and served as captain of the men’s Basketball Team.
He has also earned a Master of Education Degree from William Carey College, and a PhD in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi.
He currently serves as the principal of Gulfport High Ninth Grade, and as an adjunct professor of education at William Carey University.
His community involvement includes many local organizations that involve mentoring children and youth.
Dr. Harper is married to Dr. Tamara Walker Harper.
Tammy LaRue Moore
Tammy LaRue Moore, a native of Gulfport, MS, is the daughter of Audrey and the late Jessie Moore. The 3rd born of 5 children, Tammy is the “baby girl” (as she is affectionately known) of the family.
A 1983 graduate of Gulfport High School, Tammy now serves as the bookkeeper of her alma mater. Tammy is passionate about the Word of God. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior in 1986.
Tammy spent many of her former years in California, Germany, as well as South Carolina prior to being led by the Holy Spirit to return home to Gulfport, MS in the year 2000. Combining her love for God and His Word with her passion of singing, Tammy has spent several years serving God. She lead the gospel choir of Daniel Circle Chapel of Fort Jackson, SC for over 10 years; has ministered at various women conferences and lead a close knit women’s bible study group. After occasionally visiting Word of Faith Gulf Coast, Tammy was led of the Holy Spirit to join and run with the vision in 2013. She is now a licensed minister and serves in the Music Department and Outreach Ministries.
Outside of discussing the Word of God and singing, Tammy also enjoy listening to different genres of music, reading, and watching action packed movies.
